At age 71 I swore I wouldn't buy any more appliances, but lo and behold, I did! This rice cooker makes perfect rice and now there is no more boil overs on stove and hard to clean pots! Its footprint is small so it really doesn't take up much room I am a Zojirushi FAN and LOVE the newest breadmaker, the Virtuoso Plus which I purchased last year after I had the first one for ages and then gifted it to my sister since I HAD to have the new one!

Absolutely love our newest Zojirushi addition. Perfect size for a couple,yet enough capacity for a small gathering of friends. Simple and precise. Rice is delicious but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This does make really good rice but it takes at least 60 minutes making it the least convenient option when in a rush. It is really easy to setup and even plays a loud jingle when it is done. We've started using this more for meal prep than daily dinners and I've started to prefer this rice over the quicker methods.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your Zojirushi rice cooker. Normally when cooking rice, the rice needs to be soaked, cooked and then allowed to steam to finish the cooking process. These steps are a vital part of cooking delicious rice but most of us when we cook rice we tend to skip the soaking and steaming. When skipping these steps it seems that rice cooks a lot faster but if you do incorporate the 30 minutes of soaking, cooking and 15 minute of steaming, it all adds up to be about an hour. The Micom rice cookers will do all these steps automatically for you so that you always enjoy the best-tasting rice each time. Our micom rice cookers include a Timer setting that allows you to set up the rice cooker ahead of time and set it so it will have the rice ready at the time you need it. Perfect rice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't quite sure about the touch buttons but it was fine. The rice I made in this turned out perfect and was actually pretty easy to clean. I love finally having a rice cooker. It makes it easier because before having to watch and make sure rice didn't burn was a pain and I'm not a fan of microwaving rice. So this is great. Since we're a family who loves rice and oatmeal and all of that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried a rice cooker before and I noticed we are eating rice more often so I decided to try a rice cooker and it makes life so much easier. You just fill it as to how much you want to cook and set it and forget it and it cooks the rice nice and fluffy and also keeps it warm just in case the rest of dinner isn't quite ready. This cooker will cook up to 3 cups which is great for me and my husband. This will cook quite a few things, rice, oats, quinoa and it even says cake but I haven't tried that. Clean up is a breeze and it's not to big so doesn't take up to much room. I love tools that help make cooking easier and this is one of them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently rediscovered how many meals you can make with rice, so I went ahead and got one of these to make my life easier. WOW. It's so simple to use and clean, and the rice it cooks is absolutely delicious. I can also warm it up with no hassle, and it doesn't get dried out/crunchy like it normally would in the microwave. This cooker is absolutely worth trying if you eat a lot of rice and love experimenting with new rice-based recipes like I do!
