My 2. 1/2 year old boy/girl twin grandchildren are mesmerized by this set. They adore slicing the fruit, piecing them together, and serving fruit salads. They are improving their hand co-ordination and spatial skills while delighting their sense of accomplishment. Very awesome buy.

What fun! I think I played with it for twenty minutes before I gave it to my daughter! Such a simple concept and such a neat toy. My two-year-old daughter loves to "help" me in the kitchen, but of course, can't use knives. This gives her the chance to play along. We've also been able to talk about the concept of whole and parts and the idea of fractions.
Pros: Durable, Entertaining, Fun, Interactive, Realistic

M&D's Worst Product

Huge M&D fan... but completely let down by the quality of this product. Great ideas (as all products by M&D are) - but extremely poor quality. Velcro barely holds pieces together (They'd be better off replacing them with command strips) and our knife fell apart as we took it out of the box - not sure why they made it out of two pieces.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
