Fun but not super durable

My daughter loves loves loves this kit! It's colorful and fun. Unfortunately, I want to echo one of the reviews below that the velcro starts to fail after a few weeks of use, especially on the melon and the banana. The paint also starts to crack and peel after a while, which makes it unusable because I worry about my toddler eating the pieces.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I don't understand why this is still on the market. I have toys that have lasted 30 years and share with other grandmothers for visits with their grandkids. After a few months, the paint started chipping. One piece was replaced but the others are seriously chipping and the velcro is not working on several pieces. I called and was told I purchased it too long ago. A year and a half. This is going to the landfill unfortunately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
