My son is learning how to play with these. He likes to put the fish in his mouth still and the tip of the Swiss cheese is a little nawed on but he's getting better. Loves the orange cause its a perfect sphere aka ball.

Great food toys

So much fun! My almost 3 year old loves to bring us each food (one at a time) for us to pretend to eat it. She knows each of these foods now. So much better than fake junk food. The wood is nice, but is a bit of safety hazard when she starts throwing toys. Ouch.

Yellow paint has already peeled on imported Swiss cheese and I am concerned peeling paint pieces could be on grand children hands. One crate slat can undone already. Only used on Christmas Day.

My children love their food group they got for Christmas. There grandmother got it for them. I do have a question though because I can find it on the package. The paint that was use to paint these toys does it have lead in it?
