Paint chipping

We recieved this as a gift and upon taking it out of the package the paint was chipping off the orange completely and the others have cracks and chips in them. I am very disappointed in the product. This could be a hazardous thing for smaller kids if their older brother or sister was playing with it and they got ahold of it. You might want to think about fixing this since other reviews are saying the same thing...

Broken and splinters with less than 8 hours of play.

My son received this pack of play food for his kitchen for Christmas. With less than 8 hours of play, one of the slices of bread has already broken in half with rough splinters coming out along the broken edges. Thankfully, I saw it happen so he doesn't have any splinters that I can see. This is our second Melissa and Doug toy to have pieces break and splinter without rough play and shortly after being opened.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Paint chips off

Most of not all the toys I've purchased are melissa and doug, me and my wife buy them for our son and even for family members and my friends kids as gifts. That's why it was so disappointing when I noticed the paint coming off of these toys they lasted about 2 months, and my son doesn't even use them daily. Definately going to have to get rid of this toy and all other melissa and doug wooden toy products, I cant risk the safety of my son.

I bought this set for my daughter less than 2 months ago and I can't believe the pain is chipping out. We have so many of your products and I also have them in my classroom so I was shocked to see this happening. Have even warned friends who recently purchased these.

Too large

The fruits and vegetables are actual size....really large. This may work for some children, but not my grandaughter, Who prefers it more to childrens scale. She doesn't play with them at all but chooses smaller ones.
