[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a flash back to being a kid! This Lite-Brite - Lite-Brite Ulitimate Classic is timeless! I think my son appreciated this toy as much as I did when I was a kid. This is much more compact than the one that I had and it has flashing light too! The convenience of batteries gives you the option to take it anywhere! I recommend you get this for your little one!

I love that the pegs can’t fall out like the old one I have. the pegs are held snugly in the hole so even if it gets tipped over they will not fall out. The light is not too bright but that’s ok. I wish that you would be able to put the paper patterns that it comes with, directly on the board so that a younger child around 3-5 years old would be able to easily copy the pattern. I did put the pattern paper on the board for my 4 year old. She was able to put the correct color pegs in but then the paper was not reusable.
Overall this is a great toy and keeps kids occupied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received for free Lite-Brite Ultimate Classic for testing and reviewing purposes. As a child, I loved Lite-Brite. It was just so fascinating how you could make a picture with colored pegs and it would light up so beautifully. Well I tell you its still the same but even better. Still love this classic game. I highly recommend for adults as well as children would love to play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always a classic but these upgraded ones are so much cooler than when I was a kid! The light features are super cool! My son loves it! Super compact I used a tubberware bowel to hold the pegs! Every kid should own one

Brings me back to my childhood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a nostalgic toy for me. It brought me back to how much fun I had being a lite-brite artist as a kid. What I love about this updated version is that its battery powered so you can display it anywhere. AND since it's LED, you don't have to worry about the lightbulb burning out. It even has some cool lighting effects that bring you art to life while it flickers.

Not as great as I remember

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7-year-old was excited to play with this toy but I must say, it disappointed a little. There are some bright spots throughout the lite-brite rather than uniform brightness. Some spots did not appear to light up at all. On the plus side, it did come with a lot of pegs with many different colors that go in and out of the lite-brite very easily, but my daughter would have liked more pegs to be able to fill up more of the board. It comes with a few design ideas and more can be printed online. It needs three AA batteries that are not included but they are easily installed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
