Great old school toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great classic toy! My kids really love the templates that come with the Lite Brite. It's the perfect size for both my kids to play with it together. Be ready to lose some pegs since they're kind of small (they always were) or to lose some pegs. Best to use the toy in some sort of tray to attempt to keep all the little colored pegs. All in all, lots of fun for the kids and keeps them occupied for at least 30 minutes of screen free time.

Nostalgic Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This updated Lite-Brite Classic brought back a lot of childhood memories — and it was such a fun activity to share with my 5-year-old! It still lights up like the one I remember, but now it has a few new features like a flashing light option and an automatic shut-off, which is a nice touch.
Just a heads up: this version runs on 3 AA batteries (no plug-in like the original), and the pegs don’t go in quite as easily as I remember — which can be a little tricky for small hands. But once we got the hang of it, we had a great time creating our little “masterpiece.”
In the end, it made for a cool piece of art we were both really proud of. A fun, creative bonding activity and a nice blend of old-school charm with some modern updates

Fun and creative!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to relive my childhood with Lite-Brite Classic with my own child! The design is better than I remember with the colorful pegs fitting perfectly in each space and there's not much light that shines through once the peg is removed. It's small enough to travel with and as long as we keep the pegs in a bag, everything is portable. It takes 2 AA batteries that it comes with and it has 4 light settings to choose from as well as 6 templates and 214 pieces which is enough for each template. I'll be buying more pegs for more intricate designs since we can't seem to get enough of it!

Fun and Nostalgic, with a Few Modern Tweaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lite-Brite still captures that same creative magic from years ago, but with updated LED lights and sturdier pegs. My only gripe is that the pegs can be a bit tricky to insert for smaller hands, and it could use a few more template sheets in the box. Otherwise, it’s a great, calming toy that helps kids practice focus and patience while creating something beautiful.

Fun entertainment for the kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this for my kids to try, as it brought back memories of when I used it when I was young. I was the first to try, because, well I just couldn't help myself 😆. I am rating this a 4/5. This is because the batter compartment was very hard to unscrew. Along with that, it should be brighter, which my kids agree with. The stand is great, however the pegs are too difficult to stick in and it knocks over. It isn't sturdy enough. I do appreciate that it isn't heavy, but it seems a little bulky. Storage is pretty easy and convenient, as there's also a little baggie to keep the pegs in. There are definitely improvements to be made. My son who is 7 ended up giving up after being so close to finishing the picture. Overall though, my kids do enjoy this and it keeps them busy for a while.

Great, Fun activity!

You will need to provide your own batteries. My kids are 3 and 5, it is great for both of them. It is slightly durable and maintenance free.

Fun but not impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The box was very nice. The colors were bright and it was sturdy. The product itself was just okay. It has four different options for the background light. The stand on the back wouldn’t stay up when we were using it so we had to lay it flat. The pieces didn’t stay in the pegs very well. It seemed only certain parts would light up brightly while the others were dim. We still had a lot of fun playing with it but I would not buy this specific one.
