Quality Machine and Has Lasted

I have had this machine a few years and use it semi-regularly. It has never let me down. Couple tips: if you use very old (extra dry) flour it will affect the measurements. I like the no-egg versions a bit more. It took me a bit to find the flour mixture that I like, but once I did, I got great pasta that I love.
The only downside is that the selection of disk is very limited for the Viva. You have to go to other companies and spend extra money for an adapter To use their disk.
It took a little getting used to but once I got the hang of it I was making perfect pasta every time. The one thing that flummoxed me was the “cup” measurement. The machine uses its own version of a cup and it’s larger than a normal cup. Don’t let that hang you up. Either weigh your flour or use the Philips measuring cup.
The machine cleans up really easily and quickly. This was a great purchase.
Was missing two dies that should have came with it but Philips sent me ones quickly. Product works well. Need to follow directions carefully otherwise your mix can be too wet or dry. Follow the directions and weights and you will have great tasting home made pasta!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was a gift for my niece, she absolutely loves it. The pasta was flowing from the machine before she had time to sauté an onion.

I love my new pasta maker but when I unpacked it from the box the flour measuring cup was broken. That is why I gave it a four stars instead of 5.
