Making noodles is really easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to make Soba noodle (20/80) by hands and it was not easy, but this machine only requires to mix water slowly and Soba noodle keeps coming out. Amazing!!!

It’s ok but could be better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flour to water and egg mix is difficult to properly obtain. The extruder holes often become clogged which does not permit the mix to flow out of the chamber.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use, works well, simple clean-up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my machine for 1 month and have made 4 pounds of pasta - semolina pasta with an egg, and just plain flour pasta using the spaghetti or penne disks. I found I had better success using the measuring cup for flour rather than weighing it. I find the markings on the measuring cup nearly impossible to read as they are not marked with any color. They are just ridges of the same color plastic. The machine is easy to use and following the pictorial directions was straight forward. Clean-up of the machine was quick. At first I found it hard to clear the holes of the spaghetti disk but then found I could pop the center out for easier clean-up. I did purchase the additional Viva disks but do wish there were more fun shapes available. This machine only comes with the basics and the expansion pack does not have disks like shells, bow ties, wagon wheels. Overall this is a nice machine but the larger machine may have given me the extra that I was looking for however I must add that I was looking for a compact machine and this fit the bill. I give this machine four stars because it does what it is supposed to but the difficulty reading the measuring cup knocks it down one notch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t find the dough mixed through completely and didn’t mix the contents towards the back of the basket. I is good for small batches and this does not accommodate for more than 2 eggs. Also the dough was clumping when utilizing the angel hair attachment. I would recommend a larger storage drawer for additional disc.

It could be that the mixing paddle is running idle, and that is why the dough is not mixed through completely. In this case, it might be that the ratio of the flour and water is incorrect. Please disconnect the plug from the power source and discard dough. Clean the pasta maker, measure ingredients correctly (use a kitchen scale to measure the flour weight more accurately), and follow the user manual again to restart the pasta making.

VERY easy and fast. Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So easy! Dump in ingredients and you have pasta in about 5 min or less. Easy to take apart and clean. The pasta discs are the most difficult to clean, but they send tools to punch out the dough, so no big deal. The larger pasta shapes tend to be a little ragged around the edges at times. Also, pasta is much more dense and toothsome than store bought pasta. May just have to fiddle with recipes more. Although I've tried several different flours and with eggs/ without, etc etc. I like the angel hair the best. Sometimes you think the pasta won't come out.. just wait a few minutes. Sometimes once the attachments warm up, the flour mixture comes together and it extrudes fine. I made the mistake of throwing the batch instead of being patient. All in all I am very happy with the machine.

So easy! So good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great tool! Making home made pasta has become a weekly menu item. I would give it 5 stars except for the fact that the pasta comes out with jagged edges. Not smooth. The penne is a fun noodle to make as well
