Bought this unit July 2019. Had it installed properly in my double garage and it worked very well for cooling and heating until now. I cleaned the filter on a regular basis. Since it has stopped heating in December 2022, I have called LG for a referral to get someone that can fix the unit. I have not received a response yet that has led to someone able to fix my unit.
I honestly don’t care about entering any kind of drawing. I just want someone to fix my LG 18000 Btu ac/heater. From the time I purchased it in July 2019 until now December 2022 does not seem to be a satisfactory service life considering the price I paid for the unit.

Quit Heating

We've rarely used this window unit....less than 1000 hours of use over a 3-4 year period of use. We've cleaned the filters after using for more than a few days (every time we've used it).
It just quit heating totally. Blows air...no heat at all. No troubleshooting has worked to help.

I bought this 2 months ago. Already out and no service people in the are to fix it. Supervisor refuses to come to the phone. Grill is upside down so cleaning filter is a royal pain. Still waiting for someone to help with this piece of garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
