Cools GREAT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit over a month ago to go in the shop we built for our business. It has worked out better than I expected! Installation was easy. I come to work in the mornings turn it on and within 10 to 15 minutes it has cooled the area to a pleasant 73 degrees, even on the hottest days. This unit is rated for 1000 sq. ft. The area we are cooling is 600 sq. ft. but has a high ceiling. The auto swing feature keeps air blowing to the front and back of the shop nicely. The filter was easy to remove, clean, and put back in. I can't comment on the heating ability yet but I'm super pleased with this unit so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install, but takes 2 people. Must be extremely careful not to damage condenser fins on both ends. Quiet operation. Cooling excellent. Would have preferred that documentation was on top of the unit instead of under it when un-boxing. Packaging was excellent and easy to unpack. Unit looks very nice. Love the "Auto Swing" feature.

A great air conditioner

Great performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two LG LW1816HR window units to cool an insulated garage for short-term storage of my vineyard's grapes. After updating the garage electrical system, I installed both units by myself, plugged them in, and they worked great right out of the box(es). ( I didn't really need the heating function, but I purchased these units late in the season, and these were the only units I could locate locally). I was able to cool six tons of grapes and hold them for several days until I could ship the fruit.
