[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an LG AC/Heater in our living room window. It kept us cool through 5 Florida summers. When the compressor stopped working we tried to have it repaired, but couldn't find anyone who would/could repair a window unit. We bought a new unit that has more BTU's and hopefully it will last longer than 5 years. It is a beautiful unit with an easy to clean the filter. The one problem we have with the unit is how loud it is when running, even on Fan 1. In order to hear the TV we have to turn it off.
