Great alternative to window unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased to use in our bedroom to get through a killer heatwave. The set-up was quick and easy. It worked like a dream. The master bedroom/bathroom was comfortably cool.
We also used as a dehumidifier and was pleased with that functionality as well. The drain has a screw cap and a rubber plug. I wish I could find a hose to use when draining, but that is another subject...

Easy Set Up..Keeps bedroom cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a condominium which does no allow traditional window air conditioners. Purchased this portable ac unit about a month ago. Set up was easy and unit does a good job of keeping bedroom cool. I do agree wish hose was a bit longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set up was easy. I had to place the exhaust in the kitchen window. So, I had to place the unit on a table due to the height of the window off the floor. The negative was the power cord was too short. But, it works great and keeps the room cool during the outage of my central system.

It does an okay job cooling down the room, but the real issue is the noise, especially when it cycles to cool the air. It kept waking us up at night and we had to get another AC.

Our window ended up being longer than expected but we were able to use the equipment provided to install the unit on the window. It does get pretty noisy at night because it's right next to our bed even on the low setting. It has been doing a great job of keeping our bedroom cool on consecutive hot days though!
