Bought 4 of these cause we live in a rental trailer in Phoenix the regular ac can't keep up with the arizona heat because the ac get warm before it even gets to the vent. Work great and was able to lower my electric bill. Got 2 in the common area(living room and dining room)which is open and one in my room and one in my son's room. Haven't turned on the main ac in weeks because these where able to keep the place from cooking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast, Simple, and Affordable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this unit after replacing my 5+ year old 8,000 btu soleus portable ac. After getting the hoses connected and set up properly, which only took around 30 minutes or so, it started cooling the room a noticeable amount quite quickly. The oscillation feature is also a great plus! It helps move the cold air around very well. Very satisfied overall. The only thing i noticed is the hose leaks a tiny bit of air where they connect to the diffusers, very easily fixed, a little tape, or plastic will do the job. No big deal really. My old portable ac did the same thing.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use

Lg portable air condition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it at Home Depot and so far I had to use this portable air condition and for regular fans just to cool the Poler and dining room which is 300 ft.² which the box said it supposed to cool down and I had to pick the hottest day ever at and 95° but with the heat index is 110 I'll give it another chance but right now its not doing nothing

Effective but noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cools the bedroom just fine. I put it on for a half-hour or so before going to bed and turn it off when putting out the light. Wish I could leave it running overnight but it's too loud. If only the fan would shut off when the desired temperature was reached, but it just keeps on going!
The remote doesn't necessarily reflect what state the unit is in, so you have to be careful with that.
The remote could do with a backlight too!
Other than that? It's not a bad machine (although you may get confused if you have a shredder in the same room). :-)

No longer feels like I am being cooked alive

Real trooper in an emergency

Our whole house air conditioner broke down and the installer could not schedule our new air conditioner install for more than three weeks. It was August, our hottest month. We bought this small air conditioner and put it in our master bedroom where we lived for the next three weeks plus. It kept the one room livable through temperatures over 100 degrees. We are satisfied with the performance of this little Trooper.
