[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stand alone air conditioner works great for our room that is about 10x15 feet. We had an older model that lasted around 8 years - it had to drain water out of a tube so we had to drill through our house for the drainage. Surprised and happy that this new model does NOT need to drain on A/C mode! I only wish that the A/C would turn off when it reaches the right temperature, instead of going to fan mode.
