Purchased this three summers ago and it works perfectly! Very smooth and quiet. We have 100*+ temps this year during this heat wave. I am cooling a larger kitchen, front room and den with this one unit and it's great!

Trash! Bought it 2 summers ago. Went to use it for the first time this summer 2022, the compressor doesn't turn off after shutting down. Called and of course it's out of warranty and the cost of fixing is slightly less than a new AC. I'm so disappointed. First and last LG product.

Blows cool air but does not cool a 12x15 room...

I purchased this three weeks ago I live in Vermont. We’re going through a heat wave right now, today it was 92 F . I had my windows open all through the house last night it was 68 in my ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT!! I have the 10200 btu ac in the smallish 12x15 room I did not run a lot of hot water I did not use the oven to raise the temps. By noon the apartment was 80 F by 4 it’s 86 degrees!! I have a 6 month old baby I was forced to shut the bedroom door at noon I was able to keep the bedroom at 80 with the ac on high set at 60 filters clean and two box fans moving air around the room! I even had to put a blanket by the door to provent air being sucked under the door because the ac was creating such a vacuum I could feel the draft coming from under the door. Idk what to do now... Vermont is suppose to have an entire week of 90 degree weather and I’m stuck with an ac that is no stronger than my old 5000 btu window fan... I’d use that if I had the correct windows...

Hello and hate to hear. If the room is only a 12x15 sized room, that mean the room is too small for the size A/C bought. If your air conditioner has a bigger BTU rating than the room size needs, it will cycle off too quickly, waste energy, and will not adequately dehumidify the space. By it doing all of these things, the room will not cool correctly and the A/c will burn out faster in the unit. You should not have an A/C unit larger than 8,000 BTU in a 12x15. ^AC
