Im so happy I got rid of my window A/C and switched to a portable unit. I can still have air when I need it, and have fresh air Windows when weather is nice. I love ALL the LG products I have purchased, from my phone, to my TV, to my AIR CONDITIONER. Which cools my entire apartment with ease. The ease of use of products, to customer support are great assets to the quality of service and products. I AM a SATISFIED Customer!

Living in South Carolina through each summer challenges home heat pump systems. I purchased this unit for our master bedroom so we can "ease up" on lower temperatures through the night for the whole house. In this manner, I can cool down the master bedroom as much as I want without resulting high electrical costs. This unit gives us exactly what we want for a comfortable night sleep at a reasonable cost. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this months ago, since it easy to install and my place is small around 350 square feet I think it should be enough; Out side temperature is 89 so I set the temperature to 69 but it never go down to that , instead it just stay it in 73 so I am not sure if my room too big or what , It kind of noisy too and that’s disappointing as well.

I purchased at Home Depot and remote control was not working, I got a replacement from LG and the new remote still doesn't work. It makes a lot of noise and does not have auto on/off based on temperature room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this AC about 3 weeks now and absolutely love it. It is a supplemental AC for my bedroom when I am sleeping. My bedroom is at the far end of the house & the main AC just doesn't quite do it on hot days. It cools the room quickly, I keep it at 66, and it maintains the temperature fine. From prior review I was wondering about the noise, but it has not been an issue at all. I previously had a floor fan, so this AC is quieter. It was easy (the exhaust hose and window panels) to install, which only took me about 20 minutes

It has only been a month but so far the performance, appearance, and quality of the unit is outstanding. The installation was easy and smooth. I looked at the reviews online and went with this unit because of the brand. It is very quiet and powerful with no vibrations or rattles.
