I bought this nine months ago and have regretted it ever since. It cools ok but makes a loud knocking noise the compressor comes on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using it for several months now and it heats and cools as advertised. There are a few improvements I would like to see. It is not too noisy when operating normally but it growls sometimes as if it were eating itself. When in heating mode, it goes thru several cycles before it starts to produce heat. I had to make a water catch pan with a drain and set the unit into it to keep my carpet dry.
Pros: Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
