Welcome to the future of flight

I have owned these since December. I have the developer version which is the same as the FPV version here. These are truly a huge advancement in monitoring your DJI drone flights. The glasses are comfortable and the si-OLED display is outstanding. There is a learning curve in viewing with these as you much train your eyes to see this amazing display while keeping your flying in the distance in view much the same as viewing a site and distant target when target shooting with a gun. I would give the BT 300 5 stars if it were not for a couple of issues that need to be addressed. Currently (March 29, 2017) there are huge latency issues with the DJI GO App which makes them unusable if you fly an Inspire 1 Pro v2. I am currently waiting for the fix. The GO 4 works fine. Then there is the fact that you can't load any 3rd party flight controller or information apps such as Litchi, Hover, Airflight, Drone Deploy etc which then makes this a really expensive and fragile monitor and doesn't help to eliminate gear in the field. It actually adds to your gear list since you will need a tablet to control and monitor those apps aside from the glasses. You can't use the glasses together with an iPad or Android device at the same time so if you use other tools you are switching them out risking damage to these REALLY expensive glasses / monitors. Overall this is an amazing tool but needs to be much more versatile in my opinion.

Great way to fly drones

After using the Moverio BT-300 glasses, other FVP goggles, phones and iPad as visual control devices with Phantom 4 and Mavic Pro, for many flights the Moverio glasses are my preferred device. The ability to see both the drone in flight and what the camera is seeing is great.
On the down side, the glasses Android version needs to be updated to a later version, preferably at least 6.0 so more apps can be used with the glasses, ie, DronePrix AR, etc. I had a map app working originally, but now cannot get one to work, this is an overall problem not being able to use standard Play Store apps. Also, since the glasses were developed with DJI it would be great if the DJI GS Pro app would work with the glasses so pre-planned flights could be done, it's for this type of flight, as well as DronePrix AR flights, that I'm relegated to using iPad or phone with other FPV goggles.

Bt-300 BLE problem. No Google store support. Google services

Can not believe this. Just got my unit. It can not connect to Bluetooth BLE!!!!!!!

There is no gooogle App Store on it. When you connect to wifi and login to the google app market place it won't recognize the Moverio as a device to have apps downloaded on it.
I managed to download an APK of an app (XcSoar) that I used to run on my BT-200. The app installs ok on by-300 by using apk but after installation you notice that the menu botton and the writings for settings on the app are so small , it is literally size 1 font. No way to be able to read them.

Mavic Pro

I bought the Moverio BT-300 to fly with my Mavic Pro. I use my quad professionally so needed a solution that allowed me to comply with the FAA VLOS guidance. It took a bit of work to get the device working perfectly (there's a Maps hack on the Moverio FB group); but now I couldn't imagine going back to my phone.

Excellent For My DJI Inspire 2

I Purchased the BT300 to use with my DJI Inspire 2 and i could not be more happier!! I'm able to see all my setting and still keep my LOS of my Inspire 2, easy to set up and use. I highly recommend this item!!!

I am colorblind. I am Red & Blue deficient. I am a Professional Recording Artist. I am an Honorably Dishchar Military Vet. I have sustained long term injuries. What does any of this have to do with the Epson Moverio BT-300 (AR/Dev Edition?) I had scoured the globe searching for a viable and effective pair of intelligent smart glasses...never realizing that this product even existed. I am also a “tinkerer...an analyst...and a Man without ceasing to assist the homeless in my community.” The MBT-300 AR/DEV smart glasses are now assisting me in building viable and USABLE REAL WORLD apps to apply to my hopes that one day...I may do more to not only assist my own Physicians in my OWN life care...but also to be able to assist those with no health care at all...in essence...I do not fly drones with it...I aim to build apps and “Critical Care” future technologies that would be of ( Hopefully ) use to my fellow Vets...most homeless where I reside at this point...and also to show my City Council that there IS a better way to assist those who cannot speak due to illness...language barriers...and/or...basic life detriment.
I wish I could say I know more about this MOST AMAZING piece of technology...however...I do believe that time will afford me that opportunity. It is TRULY my Honor to be a part of the Epson Moverio Family...and who knows...maybe one day I’ll take a break...and try to fly a drone...we all need a good hobby...and I am never one to shy away from fun...when I am able. Epson...Thank you for existing.

I purchased mine 2 weeks ago. Love it...! It is capable of doing so many things. Wish there was more APPS in the APP store but with a little savyness you can put as many APPS on the device as you can. Looking forward to using it much much more.
