Great AC, Poor Wifi App

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AC is great and quickly cooled my apartment. It's a little noisy but not annoyingly loud. What drew me to make this purchase was the WIFI and being able to control the unit through the Frigidaire app. That unfortunately is completely useless! I can't get it to connect or find the unit. The app is horrible and the ratings for it should have been telling. If you are making your decision based on the Wifi feature be warned. Like all of the others say, it doesn't work!

AMAZING.....but the remote don't work at all & WiFi is spotty at best!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to vastly improve my air cooling during the heat blast we can get in the east coast of USA, within Bronx,NY. After close to a week of ownership & usage I am AMAZED with the cooling, it's design is nice, But my only issue at the current time is the NOT at all working remote!! I will replace the battery to give that a shot but this is ludicrous for this to even happen.

Poor design makes this a regrettable purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace old and reliable "slider" units, one of which was a Frigidaire. Strengths of the unit: it is powerful. But the design flaws dominate: unadjustable louvers that direct air flow upward only reduce the cooling capacity dramatically; the unit is very loud, with a high frequency that requires the volume of the TV to be quadrupled; there are no default settings, so that each time it's turned on the temperature and speed need to be lowered; it's impossible to set in the dark; the current temperature reading glows for a full 60 seconds after the unit is turned, creating a disturbing presence at night.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problematic unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two other units however, this unit is problematic, first it was very difficult to connect to WiFi.now it is on a schedule that I Did not program! It comes on at will! Especially when I don’t want it on!

Hello, Adaniels12! Thanks for reaching out to us. We always want to know when one of our owners need help. I have provided steps on how to clear the schedule. After clicking on Schedule, click on the three blue dots in the top right-hand corner to access the settings menu. You should see an on/off button and a ‘Clear Schedule’ button. Pressing ‘Clear Schedule’ will clear the current schedule in the Frigidaire app and allow you to set a new one. The previous schedule will remain in the appliance’s memory until a new schedule is set. To turn off the programmed schedule, press the switch to turn the scheduler off BEFORE pressing clear. If this is not done, the appliance will continue to run on the last programmed schedule. If the schedule is still running after clearing, set up a dummy schedule using any date and time and then proceed to turn the schedule off and then press clear. The timer/schedule light on the appliance should go off. Have not had it a year yet and its already broken

Great Features, one flaw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this Air Conditioner for about a month now, I love the WiFi connectivity and the ECO Mode works great at holding a temperature. The only flaw I can see with the product is the location of the blower vents, putting them on the top tends to push most of the air up over the room instead of into it which seems to make it work harder than it should to cool the room.
