[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought three 8000 BTU's and works great so I bought two more of the 10000 BTU's this year for the rest of the house, and they all work great so far. Have them all hooked on WIFI as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WiFi feature is great when it wants to work but unfortunately for me this the 3rd time this year my a/c unit just goes offline

Thank you for sharing your experience! We are sorry to hear that your Smart AC has been losing connection! It may appear offline if it loses signal from your Wi-Fi network, either because the strength wanes or it is too far away to get a reliable connection. It may also lose the signal if you have many other smart devices connected to the network and taking up available bandwidth. Try moving your router closer to the AC or moving other devices to your 5G band (if available) to improve the reliability of your connection. Excellent functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this window AC a month ago and I’m extremely happy with it. Everyone in my household likes the chick look of it. Also, cools the apartment quickly and the air feels a lot cleaner. The only thing is I wish it was a little quieter, but overall a great product. It was worth the price!

WAY TOO LOUND

It's a beautiful window ac with the promise of cool technology, but its very basic.
First, it's just too loud. it's designed to cool a large room, and you cannot escape the sound. It sounds like having a vacuum cleaner running at all times. I've installed the insulation on the frame as suggested, but it doesn't do anything for the sound. It's lovely if you like to sleep with a noise machine, but good luck trying to hold a conversation or listen to music or TV. It's really bad.
Secondly, the technology is nice, but its so lacking. the wifi drops a lot. which doesn't bother me too much. But the app crashes every other time I open it, Alexa can only turn it on/off or set the temp. But you can't ask the current room temp or set up sleep mode or adjust the fan with Alexa. you can tell this was not designed by a tech company, and more gimmicky than anything.

Good design

This air conditioner is visually nice - definitely better looking than some others on the market. However, the wifi functionality doesn't work at all. If you are looking for a unit that you can control via your phone, this is not the air conditioner for you.

Good AC but Wifi doesnt work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this AC and it cools off my bedroom and living room perfectly but when i tried to connect the Wifi it doesnt connect it beeps but doesnt stay blinking! I have tried everything and after reading lots of reviews this issue was common. I would have give the unit alot more stars if the wifi connection worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to buy this with the scheduling feature, which is done from your phone. Our building has 4 zone thermostats for the boiler heat, so I run Honeywell wifi thermostats and set the schedule, and let it go. Only part of the building has central air. On the office side of the building we have to run window A/C's. I was excited to finally be able to automate the A/C's for the office. It is only open M-Th.
......I was upset with the App because the scheduling function only allows for weekdays and weekends as your groupings. It will not let you run a different schedule for Friday, defeating the purpose of saving the AC energy on Friday when closed. Also, the Honeywell scheduling allows you to even drop or raise to different temps at different times of the day. Ex. Full blast first thing in the morning to cool the office down, then slow the loud fan down when the receptionist starts on the phone in the morning for example.
..The App needs updated to allow for more scheduling functionality.
...Also, once the unit is powered off, the wifi connection is also off, so you can't wake up and turn them on remotely first thing waking up either.
..Hope to see a comment on this soon that they were able to make the upgrade!! Otherwise, the unit is very clean as modern looking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What an awesome review filled with great feedback, FrikinAired! The only thing that will cause the Wi-Fi connection to turn off, is unplugging the air conditioner (turning it off is fine). Even if you have lost Wi-Fi connectivity, when reestablished, the air conditioner will reconnect to the network by itself. You should be able to turn it on first thing remotely with no problem. At this time the app doesn’t offer individual times and days for programming, but, your feedback is reviewed online by our product gurus, who I'm sure will find value in your observations.
