Difference Between Hot and Cold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a 6000 btu unit which had mold issues and inadequate to cool my apartment. The Eco setting turns on and off at night, waking me, so just set it on constant low cool. It's also fairly noisy. Cabinet wastes space, so although it looks sleek and modern, intrudes further than it needs to. Lastly, don't have a smart phone, so can't use one to control it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just perfect !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit right before the heat wave in the San Francisco Bay Area and it saved me ! I live in a 700 sqf 1 bedroom apartment and I placed it in the living room, pretty far from my bedroom door about 12ft away. I placed it there because it's still too loud for my nocturnal taste but even in the cool low setting, I was able to sleep comfortably under my blanket. My cats were happy during the heat because I am able to control the temperature from work and that's priceless. It was easy to install even for a single woman and it looks very stylish.

Good unit, bad app, but it gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even with an app, it's still just an air conditioner. And air conditioning it does well. The app is very clunky and buggy, but it doesn't need to be much more than that.

Quiet, and user friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best window unit I have ever owned and it can be turned on and off and temp adjusted from your phone so you can cool a room down an hour or so before so you don’t have to have it constantly running when your going to sleep.

Cools the room well

Until half the touch controla died after only 2 weeks of use. . If i didnt have a smart phone to control it via wifi id be up a creek

Oh no, Bhirt!I hate to hear that the control panel is not working. Please try resetting the appliance by pressing/holding the Wifi button until you hear a short beep followed by a long beep. Then, unplug the appliance for 30 seconds. Remove the appliance from the app and start the entire provisioning process over. Close, but a ways to go.

I like the unit, easy to install and cools very quickly. My issue is with the tech side. They have a ways to go. First, I can only use their app with my phone, it is not available for my android table. Galaxy S2. The real bummer, you can't even use a web interface. Meaning, unless I have my phone, I can't control the AC remotely. I have 3 honeywell thermostats. I can control all 3 from phone, tablet and web. The web option is awesome and I use it frequently. Wish this Frigidaire unit offered the same.
