We wanted a non traditional look

Minor gripe: we use this often and it says to clean to filter when it isn't dirty. We reset it but it's a weird bug.

Great a/c, lot of very useful features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About 4 months ago I bought 3 units all together, two 8k and one 10k. They do a great job at keeping my home cool. They are also pretty quiet, the fan makes more noise than the compressor. WiFi setup wasnt too bad, though less tech savvy users may find it challenging to do. Once connected I can completely control my a/c units from anywhere, really handy feature when you want to crank the a/c on hot day on the way home from work. The fan blow air nearly straight up which may sound counter intuitive, but actually creates great circulation and cools the room down quickly.
The app could use a few tweaks. It would be nice if it could cache my login
credentials so I didnt have to re-login every time. There are also a few settings that do not explain clearly what they do. Would also be nice if they added an option on eco mode to disable the circulation fan going on every 10 minutes and only coming on when cooling is needed.

Great unit, for a few dollars more you get some really handy features. The unit also looks great and comes with everything you need to install, secure and air tightnen your window.
I would recommend this to a friend!
