Cools room fast, a little loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: This is very effective in our large living room/dining room/entryway. It cools quickly and effectively. It's a decent looking appliance with a very cute & small remote. Cons: It is on the loud side - I would not like this in a bedroom. The app took a few tries to sync. The battery in the remote died within a few days. Overall, we are happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While they advertise that the product is quiet, I find it to be quite loud. It does cool down my room (junior one bedroom) very quickly. There was a banging noise at first they kept me up at night, but then I realized that was from water droplets outside dropping on the metal top of the unit. The unit is very sleek-looking and the wifi feature is incredibly helpful (when I remember to turn it on via the app).

Life Changing AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really didn't think I could be obsessed with an AC. I was wrong. I've called this AC life changing.
There sheer ability to be able to turn this unit on via an app when I'm not home is amazing. No more walking into the apartment and rushing to turn on an AC as I melt from 90 degree humid NYC days. I turn this baby on 20 min before I get home. I open my door to a cooled bliss of an apartment.
I am also able to control this AC with my Google Home. If I'm in my bedroom, all tucked in, I can ask Google to turn off the AC (located in the living room). Crazy.
It's also sleek and modern looking. AC window units in NYC are already an eye sore. This helps a lot!
Basically, you've changed my life Frigidaire. Now let me tell google to set my AC to 68 degrees while I watch some Netflix.

Inefficient and expensive $$$$$; APP is a joke

I have had this unit for a year and all I can say is that it has been nothing but a major (and expensive) disappointment. Extremely poor design. The fact that it blows air up - instead of out - means that if you have higher ceilings it cools off the upper portion of the room first and takes forever before you notice any cooling in the full room at large (And note - my ceilings are only 9', which really aren't even that high!) It is hence impossible to just benefit from a quick blast of cold air which is all you need at times. The energy efficient settings are totally an arbitrary, moot point, as the A/C is designed to only provide any cooling whatsoever if you leave it on for extended period (at any setting.) Again, since the air blows directly up, not out, you cannot enjoy any sort of quick cooling blast of air in the room; instead you need to leave the unit on all the time to keep a room even slightly cooler. That is the OPPOSITE of energy efficient! Equally poor design is the APP - which is a JOKE. Beyond frustrating, it only connects maybe 40% of the time, and constantly needs to be reset or reinstalled to work. Overall, this A/C has offered much less cooling than it has heated frustrations.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great design and function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product mainly for the design, since I simply didn’t want a window AC with the 80ies look. I was surprised how quiet it is and how well it works, did I mention the energetic efficiency? The WiFi feature also adds convenience and reduces the need for another remote control

Excellent AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this energy saving AC unit, I cool my home while checking out at the supermarket using the WIFI app to turn on and adjust the temperature and duration of time I want the AC to run. This AC is GREEN and worth the cost.
