Ok for small rooms

Very nice design but i wouldn't buy it if you need it for a big room.

Cool looking and wifi enabled

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a larger AC unit to meet the size needs of the room, but had limited window size. This unit fit my smaller than normal window. It also looks very sleek and cool. Wifi access is a great plus, if I need to adjust the room temperature if I forget to after I leave or before I come home. Android app easy to install and functions great, just make sure your wireless router does not lose power or you may have to reconnect the AC to your home wifi. Also, the lights on it automatically dim after adjusting temperature, fan speed, etc. so it doesn't light up the room at night when trying to sleep.

Excellent replacement for old Hampton bay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this to replace a dying 15,000 btu unit that was left for us in the apartment. Did the math and detained that this lower BTU unit would be the correct size for my place. It has been great so far, had several 90+ degree days now so it seemed good to review it now. It is quieter than the old unit (but not by much). Unlike my old unit, the low fan is much quieter which is great because it’s in the living room and that meant cranking the volume up to deafening levels. This one also actually shuts off! It seems to be much more efficient at getting the room cool and then shutting off to save energy. I haven’t put a Killawatt on it, but by way of a battery backup system I know it draws significantly less power. On the rare occasion the old unit would turn off the compressor, when it would fire up again it would trip my 2 battery backups. This one hasn’t caused so much as a peep from my backup systems. Love that it blows the air up, my old one would blow the cold air right over the couch leading to one of us being freezing cold. App has functioned almost too well, have got requests to turn it up or down from my girlfriend who didn’t want to go find her phone or the remote...when I wasn’t even home. Finally it is heavy, but lighter than my last unit of similar size making it easier to install. The included insulation was very helpful too. All in all a good unit, I hope it lasts (and I expect it to).
