Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it for my father who has PD, his temp is not regulated love the idea of wifi connection so I can remotely manage it for him depending on the weather. Great for if you have elderly sick parent to take care of

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old unit was not working nearly as well as it should, so it was time for a new unit. I wanted something that was wifi enabled which is what drove me to this unit as an option. This also happens to be the only current model (that has a decent output) that fits in our window.
I absolutely LOVE this thing! I turn it down when I leave the house, and a few hours before I get home, I adjust the temperature in the app, and the house is cool when I get home!

Love the WiFi feature!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this air conditioner. I use this for a top floor bedroom that can get extremely hot in the summer time. I love being able to see the room temp from my smart phone and having the ability to control the unit when away from the house.

Cooler than my Ex's heart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a smaller room, I bought the larger version because I live in the sweltering armpit of America that is Florida. I didn't want to have to have the a.c. running at full bore to cool my room. The features are amazing. I love the connectivity to my cell phone app. That way I can be super lazy and not get out of bed to adjust the temperature. Also, with the unit blowing air up instead of straight out I find that my room is cooled way more effectively and efficiently than my previous window a.c.. I've seen alot of reviews about the noise. I havent had that issue at all. My only thought on the matter is people that are complaining about the noise level have never had a window a.c. before or had a tiny one. This actually is a larger a.c. than my previous window a.c. yet it's way quieter. The only thing I've run into is my dang cats keep turning the a.c. off occasionally. As it has touch buttons on top and as they try to reenact scenes from the lion king they inadvertently mess with the a.c. I will be looking into a suitable solution for this, but it's nothing major. I've had the a.c. now for over a month and I am still in love with it. Even changing the filter is a breeze. I like that I can set up a schedule or adjust the temperature anywhere and at any time. Very sleek and well worth the money.

Cooler than most

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frigidaire FGRC1044T1 window AC is light years beyond other window Air conditioners in design and functionality. The crisp and stylish grill makes this window unit actually attractive. The built in WiFi capability should be a breakthrough but is lacking in ease of use. Yes I can set it up with the iPhone app, but so far I have not been able to link it to my Google home assistant. The AC unit itself seems quieter than previous units, and the default ECO mode isn't as annoying as other AC units, probably in part because the Frigidaire is quieter, and less jarring as it cycles on and off in ECO mode.

Too loud

This unit has some great features. The smart phone controls are great. However, it is just too loud, even on the lowest settings. It is impossible to stay in the room for long periods. Disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
