[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spent WAY TOO MUCH analyzing the decision to buy this window AC unit. Should have gone with first instinct to buy this, would have saved a lot of time. AC unit is perfect. Does what it advertises and performs like a champ!

Could not cool a 10x12 room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate when people don't leave measurements on reviews. I was disappointed when it would not cool my one room. I returned it immediately and got the 15000 Frigidaire non wifi. Which works like a charm. Downside it is heavy and probably requires two people to install.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Window AC

Minimal design. Maximum comfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After we bought some new windows we quickly discovered our old air conditioner wasn't going to fit, so we set out to find a new one. After reading many reviews I came across the Gallery window unit. This thing is pretty great.
Design
In terms of design, I haven't seen a better looking window unit. The thing seems to just blend in to the area it's located in. It's super minimal and all of the buttons are located on the top of the unit so there's nothing to break the sleek design.

Performance
We had an older, much larger unit before and the Gallery definitely outperforms. We have a fairly large living room in a very old house and the Gallery unit cools the room down in minutes. The top air discharge is pretty interesting, too. Instead of blasting air straight out of the front the air is forced out the top of the unit letting the air circulate through the room much better.

Noise
It's a window unit. It's going to make noise. Again, compared to our old unit this thing is very quiet. I would have to turn off our old AC unit if I wanted to watch an episode of Game of Thrones without turning on the closed captioning. Our unit is place close to our couch and we have no problem hearing the TV over the unit.

Extra Features
I'm a sucker for a great app-enabled appliance. The fact that we can control this from our phones is great, but the fact that we can control it with our Amazon Echo is even better. Definitely an unexpected feature in a window unit air conditioner.

We have a few other old AC units that we plan on replacing over the next year. We'll definitely be replacing them with the smaller version of this Gallery AC.

Smarthome Integration works well and a good AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Changing the temperature is a snap with Amazon's Echo voice control. Unfortunately it does not support status checks so you don't know the current temperature setting. The mobile app is simple, but a little clunky if you have more than one unit. The units have a simple clean design. The air cooling capacity is impressive for their size. The noise is about on par with a quality window AC, about as loud as a large floor fan. We purchased three of differing sizes. All work well.
