Excellent room AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this AC a few years ago and it does a nice job of cooling down the livingroom where it's located. On really hot days, I open the door to the livingroom and allow the cool air to spill into the hallway where it also helps to cool the bathroom and kitchen area. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because it is rather noisy and for about a year and a half, I couldn't get the app to work but it does now. It's also easy to clean, has a sleek look.

Pleased Overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The air conditioner is VERY powerful and does a great job cooling the kitchen/living room/dining room of my apartment, and the unit itself is aesthetically pleasing. It's a bit louder than I had hoped, but not to the point where the noise is unpleasant. The app, unfortunately, is pretty glitchy and only works about 60% of the time.

Convenient!

Super convenient to be able to turn on my A/C before I get home on days that are going to be to hot. It does a great job of cooling my fairly large room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This A/C has worked great for three years. We use the remote, as well as the Frigidaire iOS app to control it, besides the nice touch panel on the unit. Cleaning the filter is very easy, and it’s relatively quiet for a window unit. Just a couple small items that haven’t been ideal. The adhesive for the surface of the remote was breaking down in the first year and has to be continually pressed on so it doesn’t fall off. We also found the app won’t start the air conditioner at the temperature we shut it off at (unlike the unit controls and remote), but that’s not too much trouble, and hopefully it will be corrected with a future app update. Very happy with it overall!

Very Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this air conditioner for the features of it being a smart air conditioner and the remote control. I live on the third floor of a Chicago apartment building so I had to get help with carrying it up the stairs and the secure installation. Then I come to find the WiFi feature is outdated (something to do with licensing with Fridgedaire and the iCloud. And the remote control does not work. The company’s solution was an exchange for a new one. Not so easy when it’s already installed in the window. Would not recommend!!!!
