Good AC Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been happy with the overall performance with my unit and enjoy the WiFi feature, it helps when I am away and I can determine what the temperature in the house is and adjust the unit or turn the unit off. Great experience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At last a tastefully design that match the modern decoration,design with efficiency in mind,and a modern twist of technology that includes and App to control this unit,I will remove 3 existing older existing units ,they will pay by themselves with the less consumption of electricity and add a modern look to my apartment.Now I start my a/c from my office and its the right temp.when I arrive home,its great,very happy with this product.

Missing some key features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent air conditioning unit, however, I purchased this unit specifically for the wifi connectivity and scheduling that were advertised. I was disappointed by the experience offered by the app. Scheduling is only seems to be available via a wizard which offers a limited number of choices on how you would like to schedule your AC. There is no ability to integrate the AC unit into any other control/automation systems, especially Google Home Assistant. There are a number of other small features missing and/or glitches in the app. For example, the app only seems to support landscape mode. In this regard the app feels rather incomplete. Due to the poor experience of the app, this AC for me does not offer much added value over a similar non-wifi connected appliance. I hope that this is improved over time, as the AC unit itself is great! It is extremely well designed, and it is very easy to maintain. For me, the addition of tactile buttons would have improved the design, since you cannot operate the controls easily in the dark or other situations where the buttons are not visible. I am a programmer/technology specialist, so my review is rather niche. I was looking for a unit that could integrate into a larger home automation system where I have sensors available to collect data and servers to make decisions on this data. If you are looking for a good AC unit and do not care about the app or wifi connectivity, I would suggest this or any non-wifi connected Frigidare appliance. If you are looking for the cutting edge, I would avoid this unit for now.
