Really disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been looking at this air conditioner for over a year. The design of it was beautiful and, being from Frigidaire, I thought the quality would be outstanding. Unfortunately, I have had nothing but problems with this unit since I bought it in June. It does not cool particularly well. My last air conditioner was a Frigidaire 8,000 BTU and it cooled just as well as this 10,000 BTU unit. Also, within a couple of weeks of setting up the unit, it started making incredibly loud banging/clanking noises that would come and go regularly. The noises are now more or less constant and have become unbearable. They even happen when the unit is turned off!! The unit is in my bedroom, so I haven't slept through the night in weeks because of the noise. The Filter Light has recently also changed to red despite the fact that the filter is clean? I am currently working with the retailer to either have this unit fixed or replaced as it is still under warranty. I'm hoping that I was just unfortunate in getting a "lemon" and that it will be fixed to proper working order or replaced with a new unit that works well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect feature

very good quality and performance, I'm happy with my AC unit. my only complaint is that the machine comes with a minor physical defect is not anything the interfere in the performance but for an AC that cost that much I was expecting perfect conditions

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this air conditioner about 1 month ago. The wifi feature is so convenient. I will turn on the unit before returning home to cool off the space or use the scheduler to create a cool space without thinking about it. It is attractive, but it is loud when not in low speed. I do love it though because of all the other features. I can check the temperature of the room when at work and make adjustments. I recommend it.

Enjoy smart AC
