Superior looks

If i were customer again, I probably wouldve gotten the more powerful unit (12000) for my living dining area which ended up being under 400 sq feet. It stays on for hours in a hot room. It is a little pricey but i know I paid for the looks. I dont use the wifi.

Great design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this for over a month now. Love that I can control it with my iPhone. Cools the room down quickly and love that the fan doesn’t blow straight out. We use this in the window infront of the kitchen table. With our old air conditioner we had to always turn it off when we ate, but now we can keep it on because the fans are on top of the air conditioner. Also like the look of it. The fan is a little loud on high, but I just back it down lower and it works fine.

Looks great and really cools down the place

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a typical Frigidaire AC unit that was okay but noisier, less effective, and not WIFi. One feature hardly mentioned is that there are cut-to-fit foam insert panels that cover the accordion side panels. The seams are covered with foam tape, so no bugs can get through. The strong fan pushes the air up, not ""at you" and the result is that the whole room cools down evenly. I only had trouble registering with fridgedaire.com and still can't use the WiFi features because of it.

Gets cold, but temperature is unpredictable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a faulty Figidaire 2017 Quiet unit that I replaced this model. The previous version was a lot quieter and did a better job at maintaining room temperature. Often when I set the temperature on this new model, it will often go way below the desired temperature. E.g. I set it to 73 and it will down to 68 before shutting off. It appears to regulate the temperature instead of cooling to a certain mark. Wish I could find another 2017 model as I enjoyed it very much.
Debating return unless there is a firmware fix available for the temperature control issue.
I will say the android app was a very nice feature and easy to configure/use. Will be a must-have feature for me going forward.

Best air conditioner in the whole wide world!

This a/c keeps my 3 rooms cool without needing multiple units (one in each room). I love that I can turn it on while I'm at work and have a cool house when I get home!
