I bought this for my son's room, looks good but it is very loud. Specified to cool off room size @ 650 sqf, unfortunately is not. Specification should say @400 sqf.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HOW THE FRIGIDARE 14 K BTU UNIT SAVED ME

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE PHILADELPHIA AREA EXEPIERENCING EXTREME HEAT AND HUMIDITY. THE UNIT COOLED DOWN MY WHOLE APARTMENT WITH THE COMBINATION OF COOLING AND REMOVING THE MOISTURE IN AIR.
IT WAS TAKING APPROXIMATELY 2 GALLONS OF WATER OUT OF AIR EVERY 4 HOURS. I HAD HEART CONDITION AT TIME AND WITHOUT THIS UNIT AND THE EASE OF SETTING IT UP MY HEALTH WOULD HAVE BEEN IN JEOPARDY. SO YES IT WAS THE BEST INVESTMENT OF AN APPLIANCE I HAVE MADE
