Nice Features

Purchased this refrigerator about three weeks ago to replace the one in my kitchen as I was moving the current one that was still in perfect condition to use as my second refrigerator. My second one was not working properly and found it was less expensive to invest in a new one for the kitchen than to repair my old one. I had never been pleased with my kitchen refrigerator (size, design, no light in freezer). However, was very restricted as to size of appliance I could get to fit space. After much research and with such specific size limitations I decided on the whirlpool side by side. I have found it to be very functional. It took some getting used to and several attempts at inside shelf maneuvering to finally get placements that would work for my needs. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and if it continues to function properly for the duration of my ownership will have no complaints.

Good refrigerator

The refrigerator and freezeer works well to keep things cool and cold, as it should. It's very quiet, most of the time. The drawers don't slide easily. They stick and make a lot of noise when opened. There seems to be a design flaw. The stainless front doesn't really look nice; it is very difficult or impossible to remove drip stains.

Just what i needed

I needed a fridge to fit a certain smaller space in an older home, and didn't have a water line, so no icemaker/water features needed. I ws thrilled to find this fridge that fit all my specifications and didn't require that I pay for a feature I didn't need.I was also concerned about noise, space and functionality. It wins on all counts. So glad I found it, so glad I bought it. I highly recommend Whirlpool products.

Excellent Refrigerator

My refrigerator broke down so I had to buy a new one. I did some research and found a top freezer and a bottom freezer that I was interested in and was ranked in Consumer Reports. I took my teenage boys with me so we could physically look at each and make a decision. Both boys did not like either one, but suggested a side by side. I started over with my research and found this model. All negative reviews pretty much had to do with the water/ice dispenser, so I decided to get mine without it. The fridge was on backorder and I had to wait over two months to actually receive my fridge. Once I received and started using my new fridge, I fell in love with it. It meets my needs. I have tall boys, so they don't have to worry about bending over to get things from the bottom drawer because that's where the vegetables are and they don't eat vegetables! I do not regret buying this model and I don't think anyone else looking for a fridge would either!
