Adequate space for small family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator three months ago when our old one died. So far so good. The space we had (sandwiched between a doorway and cupboards and limited by cupboards above) for the fridge limited our choices of models. We wanted a French door model but couldn't find any that fit into our space. This was the next best thing we could find. We also didn't want extra features like an in-door water dispenser. We have been happy enough. The only thing we don't like is that it is harder to store extra large things, like a stockpot of soup or items for holiday family dinners. The storage in the doors is nice and the three drawers are nice too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Features I don't like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the black color doesn't show fingerprints as much as other colors. The doors have the shelves that are extend too far out. They take up too much space inside the main compartment when door is closed. This is larger than my former Whirlpool refrigerator but seems much smaller due to the door shelves taking up so much space. There are only the two of us but for a family it might be too small. Would have liked for the doors to open up wider like the old refrigerator. There was no model in the showroom so had to order. Took over two weeks to get.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good choice for a limited space.

I bought this one without the water extra as I needed the freezer space that the water unit used up. I freeze the water in the ice trays when I need it. It is a basic, but fully up-to-date refrigerator for everyday use. I expect it to last many years.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of months ago and I'm loving it. Its quiet, the freezer freezes solid and the refrigerator is nice and cold. The best part is, I get to have a side by side with no ice dispenser. Thank you for making a side by side for those of us who don't use ice or cold water.

Perfect fit!

It has more space than we expected and keeps everything at perfect temps. The freezer is amazing. Easy to access everything and nice and cold. The size fit perfectly in the space we had - which actually eliminated a lot of other models. Looking forward to 30 more years with another Whirlpool!!!!!

A small area on the freezer door seems to build up a frost thats about 6 inches in length and about an inch in width. Havent figured out the problem yet but I still love this refrigerator.

Very happy with our new fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our new fridge for going on 2 months and we are happy with the purchase. We would purchase it again. It's smaller than the 20 year old one it replaced, but I don't feel it's lacking any space. The door shelves are very generous and everything is easy to adjust. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the back of the shelves aren't flush with the rear of the fridge so thin items can fall all the way down under the drawers.
