Does what it is suppose to do!

I am not an expert in garbage disposals but this one does what it is suppose to do and its too loud, so it is a good buy in my opinion. I have to add more characters so but I would say go for it if you are looking for a garbage disposal. Seriously how many characters does this review need, I am running out of ways to say the same thing. Buy this one...its worth it. Again I don't know how much you can say about a garbage disposal before there is nothing else to mention. This is a good one, but if you are not looking for one, don't buy this one.

TOO Noisy

This particular model has a plastic housing and is very noisy when in use. This came with a new house we purchased (installed by builder) and is in an island sink which opens to the great room. Not good for open spaces

Garbage Disposal - Living up to expectations

Install was fairly easy. The new disposal didnt match up with the old, so it took a little longer than it should have. It is much quieter and smaller than our old unit, which was a badger. So far we are happy with the product.

Not the best.....but not the worst either. One of the loudest disposals I have used. Mediocre job on clearing the drain.

Excellent Grinding and clearing.

I have had the disposer a week and have been pleased with the operation. Installation was easy, although I prefer the old-fashioned collar and snap-ring installation over the "quick twist" which was and is a pain to line up. Two complaints: Empty operation is much noisier and rougher than my old one (a competitor), even with the sound package. And, the sink flange is square cornered instead of tapered, and quite thick. On my sink water is left standing behind the rim of the flange.

Vast improvement

This unit is a vast improvement over my previous disposer. The only complaint I would have is when I try to feed a lot of liquid through it at one time, it starts to shake and I have to shut it off for a few seconds. Lesser amounts work fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
