Just installed, but so far so good!

Our old GE disposal finally died (rusted out) after 18 years of use. Just installed the new one. Installation was fairly easy (no plumber's putty needed since we have a stainless steel sink), and it fit perfectly where the old one was. This one is definitely more quiet, but don't expect pure silence or anything. Sound still comes out the top. But the old disposal shook the house. This is much more quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the disposall works very well, powerful and quiet. the only issue, which can be quite a hassle, is the splashguard does not allow water to drain well through it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very powerful and a nicely designed unit. I replaced a 10 year old Insinkerator that came with my house and the difference is like night and day.
