We like the size and LED lighting

Not for hot climates. Could use improvement in temp control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in South Florida and if you open the door regularly on the refrigerator, the temperature spikes quite a bit. Also the temperature is not even throughout. It is colder on the left side (the side next to the freezer) than it is on the right. Wide temperature variances throughout. Top of refrigerator seems to be colder than bottom. Also, the freezer is not frost free, though Whirlpool claims it is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love our new Whirlpool frig!

Our 27 year old frig died and we wanted a new one with no outer ice maker or water dispenser. Basically we didn't want any fancy drawers or extras and we got it in this well built two door side by side model. It works great and is currently accommodating four adults.

Good Decision

I replaced a former white Maytag side-by-side refrigerator with this one, and I'm pleased with the decision. Although nearly the same size as the previous, this model offers significantly more interior space in both sides. The appliance runs quietly, and my concerns about higher maintenance of the stainless steel doors were unwarranted. A clean damp towel wipes away fingerprints and splashes. I also was pleasantly surprised to discover that the darker, neutral color blends into the cabinetry on either side of the refrigerator, making it considerably less obtrusive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this for a week but so far it has done the trick. The freezer was ready to go in about 2 hours but the fridge took a solid day to get to the right temperature. The fridge is roomy for sure. It's very quiet compared to my old one. The light in the freezer is a little weak but not terrible. The sides of the unit are not stainless but a gray plastic which wasn't such a big deal for me. All in all a solid improvement over my old fridge.

Room for everything!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because my other of over 12 yrs died that day. I wasn't real sure what I wanted other than another ice and water dispenser. My husband picked this out as I was doing something else.Well I got not only ice & water, but crushed ice too.This model also is wider, deeper, and has more storage. It has see through shelves and storage drawers which I makes it awesome to see exactly what you have or need in just a quick glance.I'm quite impressed so far!
