Wouldn't recommend

I bought this in May, 2014 and was told an ice maker came installed in it. It was delivered without an ice maker. Had one installed and have had problems with it. The freezer is so frosty. So, I have frost shelves and ice all over. Wouldn't recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this 1 month ago. It's very loud. I woke up one night hearing water dripping. It was the refrigerator defrosting? Not sure, called whirlpool and they said they would send someone out on Dec 13 between 12-4. I took half a day off work to be here and nobody showed up...... That was yesterday.......

Vent Fan Panel

Bought two days ago, when I set it up, the back fan panel was a treated cardboard rather than a metal plate, the fridge really looks unfinished. For the price paid on a Whirlpool appliance, I would think the back vent (fan) panel would be better material

So far, so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It may be a bit early for a meaningful review, since the last one lasted 20 years, but we've had it for 30 days and, so far, it's doing what we expect.It's hard to rate it higher than three stars, because while it meets expectations it can't exceed expectations so early in the game.My expectations include keeping things appropriately cold and not spilling defrost water on the floor. It clearly works better than the old reefer that this one replaces.

Great machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this machine because it does not have an ice maker. It runs quietly and so far has kept the temperature exactly. I like the 3 food bins and where the lights have been placed. I am very happy with this appliance.

had to get repaired

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even after running for a week, it wouldn't cool below 40 on the fridge side on the top setting (5), and the freezer was -15 at the bottom setting (1). The warranty guy replaced the thermostat and the fridge will at least get down to 34-36 now. The freezer still is -15, which seems like a waste of electricity. The guy said that the freezer will get colder the more the fridge side is opened and closed because the cold air is only generated on the freezer side and then blown over to the fridge side. Seems like a poor design.

Nice amount of room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I opted for a no frills model. No icemaker or water dispenser. The result was an awesome amount of room in a configuration that allows you to get to ALL of your goods. The side by side design along with the rack system make it so easy to not have any of your inventory get least behind or under other items
