Great refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator last month and just had it delivered and installed last week. So far we are very satisfied with it! Based on reviews from other customers, I decided to forego the automatic ice maker, so the freezer side is very roomy. The refrigerator is also roomy... there are so many drawers that there is a little less shelf space, but one could always just leave one drawer out to get additional shelf space if desired. You should be aware that while the front is stainless steel, the sides are not; instead, they're a kind of putty gray vinyl, I guess. It looks fine in my kitchen, but if you need all-around stainless steel, this refrigerator does not have it. All around this fridge seems to me to be a great value at the price.

Perfect no-frills model

We picked this model specifically because it's one of the few that doesn't come with an ice-maker or water dispenser and is Energy Star certified. We are very happy with it. Since it doesn't have an ice maker we have plenty of room in the freezer. The sides are light gray (many stainless steel refrigerators come with black sides), which is perfect since it blends in better with the rest of the kitchen.

Bad Shelf Design

White plastic spill guards are too wide and cause issues for putting food on shelves. Shelves also do not touch the back wall so items fall behind the shelf - about a 1 1/2 gap. Replacement parts hard to find.

In the last several months I bought your combo front loading washer and dryer,and side by side refrigerator. My choice of Whirlpool is because of the qualityand user friendly controls. Price was a secondary consideration.Also what wasvery important to me was service and the ability to secure service parts. We arevery happy with our choice. Great products

After reviewing several brands, this item offered features that were perfect for my needs. It's been a month and the added bonus is the lower electric bill since it's an Energy Star product!

Our new refrigerator is OK

New refrigerator meets our needs. Not nearly as good as the 22 year old refrigerator it replaced. Shelves are flimsy.We love the wide door shelves.
