Great tv for the hearing impaired

This tv has a good picture but the sound is complete garbage. It would all be fine if they gave the option to add a soundbar but NO! Not sure what century we’re in but I’m pretty sure soundbars and surround sound systems aren’t a new thing so it should be a standard option to add one to your tv setup especially with the poor sound given from LG.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dont bother

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dont bother buying a TV i purchased a TV in December and now today purchased a sound bar and here i cant even use it with the TV because they dont have optical or hdmi arc connections i called them be cause the site when i purchased this TV said it had arc yet here i am wasted alot of money on an lg sound bar and the TV and cant even connect a simple sound bar to it I mean come on its 2019 all TVs should have these connections to use accessories so very disappointed I'm ready to throw the TV in the trash and get different one

The LG Full HD 1080p LED TV - 43" Class (42.5" Diag), Model # 43LJ5000 is an entry-level TV that is designed for people who are not looking to add a Sound Bar, receiver or Home Theater System to their TVs and it does not have any audio output ports that you can connect to other devices. It does have 2 x HDMI® ports and a Shared Composite/Component port that can be used to connect external devices like a DVD player so you can play the sound from those through the TV's speakers.

My faith in LG quality still remains extremely high even considering my units flaw!!! Defects are a fact of life in this world!! LG in my opinion still has the best track record!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV in sept. 2017. I like the tv very much, but it has one annoying feature. The female voice that comes on when the tv is turned on, and when you raise or lower the volume. I can't find a way to stop the voice
