Good quality TV for reasonable price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this TV for den to replace a smaller unit. We are very please with the size and resolution. We cut the cable 2 years ago and view broadcast digital TV, DVDs and subscription movies. We use Android tablets, phones and Google Chromecast devices. The TV supports these media and USB sticks. It's easy to change devices. Our only issue with the TV and why it doesn't get 5 stars is the lack of audio output jack or wireless audio.
Pros: Performance, Quality, easy to use

It's a shame. The TV has a lively and sharp picture, the functionality is easy however we have to turn the volume up and keep adjusting the type of audio to just hear clearly. The sound is most definitely an issue with this tv. I read others had the same complaint as well. It's a shame.

Sound sucks...CANNOT attach a home theater system

After setting it up I realized there is NO WAY to connect to a home theater system because there is no audio output. Now I have to box it back up and take it back. What a hassle, what is the point of this TV??? Very disappointed!

No Audio Outputs What-so-ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will be taking this tv back. It has no HDMI output, no optical output, no jacks. No audio output what-so-ever. Who does that in this day and age? LG If the sound was great, then ok, but it isn't.

good tv, not good for sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we knew this was a "basic" model. its obvious with the price we paid. but we were hoping there was a way to maneuver it so we could connect speakers or better sound and there is not. good tv if you don't care about adding sound
