Remote issues and sound

We bought this tv to replace our older Vizio and are disappointed. The sound is really bad on the tv. We have had the tv for 4 months and the remote randomly stopped working now we can’t change the channel or adjust the volume. Universal remotes for some reason aren’t working either. I wouldn’t recommend this tv.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best garbage ever.

This is the best garbage I bought for $$$. Above all with a LG logo. The sound quality is very poor. Thought I would add a soundbar...found out no optical port...No Coaxial port either. Bought 3.5mm RCA cable only to realize there is no setting (menu) to change audio out. I am really disappointed with LG. Till today I thought LG is good but no more. Thank you LG.

Bought it then discovered when I got home and hooked up, there is one 2 inch speaker! the audio cannot be turned up loud enough for old people even with hearing aids!
