Overall easy to install. Recommend maybe provide the proper product for cleaning the cooktop with the unit. Also try to make the control knob setting easier to read.

Good if you have strong wrists

This was a replacement of an earlier GE model and installed easily. At 2 weeks it works well. The layout of the burners is taking some getting used to because the smallest one is no longer embedded within a larger one. Also the child-proof locks require more force to operate which my wife finds difficult. The information etched into the glass top is barely readable and could do with an upgrade. But no major problems! Maybe a touch control model would be a better choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Glass Top is a Pain

No matter how hard you try and what recommended cleaning product you use, it is almost impossible to adequately clean and keep the glass cooktop clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for the price

The cooktop is very visually pleasing. It seems to take an extended amount of time to "heat" the actual pan, but it may be the type of pan we use. The burners immediately get hot, just doesn't transfer the heat very fast. It seems to get dirty marks right away, but generally wipes off easily with the correct cooktop cleaning product.
I would recommend this to a friend!
