Have yet to use all the fancy features, but have used both ovens and at the same time. Was sad to give up my double range when we remodeled, so I was happy to find this option.

Very easy to use. Controls very simple and intuitive. Have not tried anything beyond simple bake or convection. Works great.

I rated it low for "value" because it is NOT a cheap unit. It was pretty expensive as ovens go, but we really wanted the double oven and it had to go under the counter. This is the ONLY unit we found that fit our needs.
Not a criticism, but if you are remodeling and putting it under a counter, this unit is really too large for a standard oven cabinet. We ended up not using the cabinet and installing it as a stand alone unit.

TWO FOR THE SPACE OF ONE

I bought a home with a single oven which made entertaining hard when cooking multiple items. I had always wanted a double oven but could not figure a way to obtain enough space. Then I saw an advertisement for this GE product. I had previously owed GE monogram appliances so i knew it would be a quality product. The only small item is that the top rack does not slide easily but am very excited about the purchase overall.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love having two ovens. I was a little concerned at the bottom oven would be too small… That doesn’t seem to be a problem. However, when I bake cookies, the bottom of the cookies always get done too quickly. I’ve tried putting them on the top shelf that doesn’t seem to help. I haven’t used it enough yet to see how other things cook, but I hope that doesn’t continue to be a problem.It happens in both ovens. I would’ve given it five stars if I thought it had more even heating.

Nice Oven But Misleading Picture; Controls are LOW

My contractor installed this oven today. I was super excited about finally using it because I’ve been wanting this over for my kitchen remodel for years. I came home expecting it to be fantastic but instead I found I had made a gross miscalculation in the location of the controls. I installed this under a glass top cooktop in a base cabinet. There is a picture of this exact installation on this website and when I was researching this oven I saw the picture and thought, “Hey, that looks great!” Well in actuality the controls are very, very low. This oven really is meant to be installed as a wall oven raised up higher than in a base cabinet. GE ought to remove that picture and not encourage people to buy it for under a cooktop installation. I am not quite sure what I’m going to do. I may swap it out for a new one.
Also, my contractor said that during the installation one of the bolts that holds up the inner rack on the lower oven sheared off. Hopefully that doesn’t end of being a big deal but it is concerning.
Overall my expectations were super high and I was definitely let down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
