From doing a little research on my family, I already knew everything you sent me ! I could not forward it to another family member or print it, so it was of little use to me !!!

Icing on the genealogy cake

I have been working on my genealogy, off and on, for over twenty years. This was affirming of all that I have found, plus it was more fun and exciting than spending hours searching records in a library (not that the library wasn't fun).
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got the full kit (ancestry and health) mostly out of curiosity - as a biology professor, I wanted to see what gene mutations I have. Also, I thought I could share my results with my students to make DNA seem more concrete and meaningful. I enjoyed getting my results, but I was almost disappointed that I didn't have any of the variations they test for! Now I'm not sure what to do with my results. Kind of a letdown. I hope they come out with total genome sequencing someday - that would be confusing but cool!
