Not much help.

In all honesty, I found the reports useless. How is it helpful for me to know that I can or can't smell asparagus. I thought that the reports would tell me useful things like am I predestined for breast cancer or Parkinson's disease, etc.
As for the ancestry part, I'm not sure how accurate it is because my mom was 1/2 Cuban meaning that there would be more Southern European in me than 1% since Cubans are a latin mixture.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am so grateful I did this. Being adopted I needed to know what my ancestry is: what's in my blood. The results were amazing.

Very good and trust worth science

I received my kit around Christmas, and sent it out the day after a Christmas. I received results with in a few weeks.... some of which were shocking, and others were rather well known. All around the percentages of the DNA was shocking and very interesting!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing Test.

I compared 23andme to other ancestry tests and I decided to go with it because of the genetic predictor markers. I am so satisfied; the traits information describe accurately who I am and I found an explanation for some of my "habits." I have a disposition for salty foods with no attraction to sweets; that's now genetically explained....and many more....
I would recommend this to a friend!

This really gave me very little information. It was very hard to be able to find the information and I had to ask for assistance from someone else. Extremely little information given. Extremely unsatisfactory!

Thank you for your feedback. The 23andMe Health + Ancestry Service is the first and only genetic service available directly to you that includes reports that meet FDA standards. You now are able to receive 65+ reports on health, traits and ancestry instead of exclusively ancestry reports.
Keep in mind that each health, trait and wellness report includes a Scientific Details tab that includes more detailed information.

From doing a little research on my family, I already knew everything you sent me ! I could not forward it to another family member or print it, so it was of little use to me !!!

You can now print optimized versions of all your 23andMe reports. In addition, we’ve added a summary of all your results to help you share your 23andMe experience with others. To print your individual reports, log into your account, and look for the green "Print" button in the top right corner of any report. To print the Report Summary, navigate to the "All Reports" page in your account and click the green "Report Summary" button in the top right corner of your list of reports.
