Health info interesting!

I am most interested in the health info. Recent issue with milk products confirmed by 65% chance of lactose intolerance. No genetic disease markers to be of concern. I enjoyed reading my reports.

One of the coolest things I've seen lately

I'm adopted, so as you can imagine I do not know very much of my genetic and ancestral history. I can honestly say that through this service I was able to discover more about myself in both a genetic sense and a historical sense. I do not feel as lost regarding my heritage anymore, and that is because of this service. Plus, it's really cool to see where you beat the odds (for example, I wasn't likely to have a widow's peak, but I lo and behold, I do!).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your feedback. The population labels in Ancestry Composition refer to genetically similar groups, rather than nationalities. In general, we sought to make the populations as small as possible, subject to the constraint of being able to distinguish between them. Populations may be inherently difficult to distinguish because of historical mixing, or we might not have had enough data to tell them apart.

I paid for both my wife and I. After waiting for the results, the routine did not prove itself to be worth the investment.

Thank you for your feedback. The 23andMe Health + Ancestry Service is the first and only genetic service available directly to you that includes reports that meet FDA standards. You now are able to receive 65+ reports on health, traits and ancestry instead of exclusively ancestry reports.
