Poor quality No detail. I am disappointment in the way that it is presented to me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Joyous Connection

I sent my sample into 23andme for the health service. My husband had cancer and I wanted to know what genetic markers were lurking in my DNA. (none, by the way, I seem to be pretty healthy)
As an added bonus (a GOD gifted bonus) my nephew who had been given up for adoption 60 years ago has found his genetic family and reconnected with his birth mother (my sister). It is a joyous occasion that would only have happened through this ability to match DNA.

Lost brothers!

Through 23and me, I received an email from an unknown brother. At the age of 70+ very surprising to find out you were adopted and have a family you never knew about. Worth finding as they were better than the adopted one. Thanks.

Knowing who I am

I always wondered where I came from and if I was going to get certain health issues that were in the family. Now I know where I came from and the health issues are answered with more ?s that are answered every time I use this product.

I have been a member for a couple of years. I began as a volunteer though a Lupus organization. 23 and Me has been doing research about Lupus, but they have made all they do available to me.

I have had a number of DNA tests and want to find my family, with name changes DNA is the only way. The results as to ancestry have been different, members from the Log vary as to who signs up. 23 and me has set me in the right direction.

I am satisfied with my purchase. I cannot do in depth research of relatives as need both sides of DNA and none of my close relatives have done this...other than a grandchild. I wish more would, then we could trace connections clearly!
