Expectations

23andme has met my expectations. 1st I was interested in my health DNA; 2nd ancestry was not as important. It is, however, really nice to read about my mix. Just wish my paternal side was evaluated and not just my maternal side. I learned that it is my lifestyle and not my genes that dictate my health. I recommend it to those who wish to learn about their ancestry as well.

There are obvious things that a DNA testing kit might reveal. Still, it's interesting to see the sheer quantities of data that people who have done testing plus filled out surveys can provide.

Best Christmas gift ever! It has sparked other family members interest and continues to produce genetic insight as time goes on. I can't change what is, but I can work with it.

Amazing ride through history.

I received a kit for mother's day. when the results came back there were lots of cousins I didn't recognize the name of. With the help of some other family members and one other genealogy site I found family from my dad's die of the family I didn't know existed. I am excited and intrigued.

I bought this because it was recommended by my naturopathic doctor. It tells me what I need to look out for as far as health concerns for myself. I regularly fill out surveys with the hope it might help someone else.
