A dream come true.

Because of this test, I was able to find my father. I had never met my father. In fact I wasn't sure at all. I actually got the test in the hopes of at least seeing if I had in of the carrier status because I was missing half my heritage. I got that and so much more!

Happy Surprises!

Because of 23andMe, I found a new cousin on each side of my family, I now know of 19 new first cousins (so far), and I have met 10 of them! Great people all! I am currently on vacation in Mexico with one of my new cousins. Since my father was adopted, I expected to find some new relatives on his side, but I also found a new first cousin on my mom's side. I also got to meet one of my dad's brother's before he died! My father would have loved to meet all these people and I'm so sorry that I didn't take the test while he was alive.
In addition, I have an adopted child of my own. She has learned a lot about her biological origins, and has corresponded with some 2nd cousins.

The23andme DNA testing kit is easy to use and you will be assured that your DNA data will be kept confidential. It is wonderful to know that you are also contributing to genetic data that can help others in the future. You can also take optional informative surveys that are interesting and insightful. I enjoying taking the visual speed processing tests. Great product!

I got this because of my Parkinsons and it has helped me alot. I see all the reports it shows for me about my family or others in or around my family. Though I wish I could buy one for my mother but there is no way I can, so I just send her e-mails of some of the I have received.

In our family we have been able to find long lost sisters we never knew existed. We have found out true paternity. We are preparing for possible health issues. We have participated in research experiments. We have improved our lives by the information shared by this company. It was much more of a revelation than I ever dreamed. My sisters, daughter-in-law and soon my husband will become part of the process. I am delighted with my experience. I have even reconnected with lost cousins. Keep up the good work.

I purchased this for kicks, come to find out I have many cousins that I have now connected with. I m really pleased with 23 & Me they are very accurate regarding my heritage.

Thought Irish but I’m British

I would like to find my father and any half siblings my mom always said I was Irish but my DNA says I’m British that was a big surprise.
